Hi, I am Sravya, 3rd year International Business Economics Student at the University of Manchester. To describe myself in 3 words, I am enthusiastic, optimistic and determined.

Work Experience:
- Virtual AskMe Ambassador - University of Manchester:
Role involved in answering student queries relating to welcome via online chat system (Gecko Chat)

  • International Student Ambassador - University of Manchester:
    Role involved speaking to international offer-holders, sharing experiences, holding focus group sessions and sharing experiences, and reporting to the office.

  • Student Representative of AMBS, The University of Manchester, UK:
    Working as a Student representative and assisting 300 students, taught efficient ways of mailing the staff and students, clarifying their queries and organising events.

  • Brand Ambassador - RMP Enterprises, UK:
    I was responsible to promote events, webinars, competitions, collecting data via registration forms, social media promotion, run face-to-face branded stalls to answer student questions, lecture shout-out. Role also involved building relationships with societies and faculty members, running my own event at the university.

  • Marketing Manager – SRT Engineers, India:
    Role included sending in mails to the clients communicating about our unique features such was discounts, use of supreme suppliers and also improve their marketing reach by some promotional activities like building the logo, designing posters and offering personalised gift items to the clients for trusting the business.

  • Project Consultant – RebrandMe, UK:
    Role involves taking client calls, doing marketing projects, communicate being a liaison between the company and their clients. Usually involves marketing for the podcast of clients and am volunteering for a handful of projects.

  • Project Support Head – RebrandMe, UK:
    As the Project Support Head, I was the key person supporting the teams throughout the duration of their respective projects. Role involved in providing any necessary training for Project Managers liaise closely with Project Managers to ensure that projects are running smoothly and sitting in on meetings between teams and clients to offer support as needed, drawing up client agreements.

  • Peer Mentor – AMBS, UoM, UK:
    Facilitated as a peer mentor for the Alliance Manchester Business School and supported first-year students in their academic/personal development. This enabled to identify ways to explain complex concepts in an effective way.

  • Peer Coordinator ISOM, UK:
    Coached as a peer mentor coordinator for Indian Society of Manchester in 2020-2021, by coordinating, designing, and implementing activities, rules and schemes for the mentorship programme for the society.

  • Secretary – Access All Areas, UoM, UK:
    Role involved helping youth and students with access to the universities, teaching younger students and also supporting small businesses. I was responsible for handling their social media pages, act as channel of communication between the university and the project leaders. Updated the university and committee through newsletter and social media.

Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Microsoft Office Tools: I'm working on these tools since 6 years and submitted research works thus enhancing professionalism in these both skills
Proofreading and Editing: I've worked as a co editor for the IB English company, helped students in their IBDP degrees to get them into both undergraduate programmes.
Content Creation: I've gained proficiency in Canva, instagram, snapchat, having worked as a social media manager for many companies.
