Hello! I'm Shrawan, a current second year at the University of Leeds. On my way to completing my degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering, I'm looking for a mutually rewarding experience in working with you!
Skills
Having multiple MOOC certifications to my credit from leading Universities around the world, I'm a technically skilled individual. Ever curious and willing to learn, I'm also very capable in picking up skills to improve my ability to deliver. Undertaking many leadership roles throughout my academic life, I can convey ideas brilliantly through oratory and written means. These roles often had me interacting with a variety of people and has made me very organized, responsible and tenacious.
- Programming : Experience with many programming languages including C, C++, Java and Python, I've created games and advanced programs.
- Data Analysis and Management: Certified in Data Analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, and hold Maths and Statistics expertise.
- Web Programming : HTML5, CSS, JavaScript as well as website builders like Wix.com , SquareSpace and WordPress.
- Communication : Bilingual in English and Malayalam with native proficiency.
- Writing and Presentation : A voracious reader and writer, I'm adept at using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and similar programs. Additionally, I'm experienced in editing and refining context to better satisfy audience.
Work Experience
I've played both technical and non-technical roles throughout my career, which have both helped in nurturing many of my latent skills as well as helping me develop new ones.
College Vice President and Society Secretary at University : My integrity, diligence and ability to get things done has earned the confidence of my peers over my academic career. As part of the student leadership team, I've organized and successfully executed many campaigns for important social causes like eco-sustainability, farming and cancer charities.
National Citizen Service Participant and Assistant Mentor : I've worked with charities to reimagine and popularize environment support groups, as well as Go-Green agencies, by renovating parks and managing their social media pages. This involvement also helped me mentor students younger than me in making their charity projects a success as well.
Assistant Technician Placement : Worked alongside a high-school technician to manage student data and update school systems. During this placement, I involved myself in establishing a process model by which needy students could lend out unused laptops to help further their education by working at home.
