Gyder worked with the Great Yorkshire Show to provide their official mapping app this year. A massive percentage of visitors downloaded the app and used it to find their way around one of the biggest outdoor shows in the UK, with over 130,000 visitors.
The success of this and other events built confidence in the technology and the Gyder company. In 2023 we are set to be appointed the official app for several more shows and events.
That's where you come in. We want you to work with us to devise a strategy to target the potential stakeholders in our business; the owners of the events, the exhibitors and the visitors. Then we want to establish an ongoing social presence where it is needed.
We are looking for someone with the knowledge it takes to carry out the above and someone with potential, marketing ability and the belief in themselves to spot opportunities and help us in our journey.
For many years in major companies, I have worked with students and placement students and have seldom been disappointed. I want YOU to help us build our company and YOUR CV at the same time.
While most younger people naturally have social media skills, you will need to be someone who sees this as a stepping stone to building a marketing career.
Taskers best suited will have skills in linkedin.
You will ideally be interested in startups / entrepreneurship & travel / cuisine.
