Hi there! I'm Megan, a BA Modern Languages (French and Italian) student going into my third year at University of Birmingham. I am efficient, calm and dedicated to my work with a love for learning.
Positive, calm, hardworking. I will work efficiently to make sure you receive completed tasks on time to the high quality you would expect. I am well-organised and enjoy a challenge.
I speak English, French and Italian and received A*AA in my A-Levels. I am interested in Investment, Finance and Marketing.
Montanaro Asset Management: Learnt about process behind identifying small and mid-cap businesses to invest in by analysing financial data. Observed a meeting with the CEO and CFO of Bloomsbury Publishing and watched a pitch with a potential client.
Press office at the Devon County Show: Shadowing the Press Officer and the Show Secretary, I joined the press tour for the Countess of Wessex, allowing me to meet professional journalists and photographers. I met ITV and BBC crews who allowed me to watch how they make their evening news broadcast. I published my own posts and photos on the Devon County Show Facebook and Twitter pages.
Mountlands Language School - Helped to lead groups, lessons and supervised breaktimes. I also worked in the office creating spreadsheets, assessing students' work and creating resources for lessons and external activities.
Social media: I have created online content for the Devon County Show Twitter and Facebook pages and Sentina Training and Consultancy's LinkedIn and Facebook. I am confident on most platforms and can adapt my work to your customer base.
Translation: I study several translation modules at university and have achieved Firsts and high 2:1s this year. We not only learn about the theory of becoming a natural translator, but also how to use online software to improve your work.
Customer Service: I pride myself on my people skills. Having worked as a waitress since I was 13, I have great confidence in talking to people, with a great ability to read people and adapt my behaviour accordingly.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
I look forward to working with you soon!
