Hello! My name is Nick and I am currently a final-year student at the University of Birmingham studying International Business with Spanish (BSc).
Work experience
Member of staff at ‘TheMix’ Event collective (July-Sept, 2019). This consisted of bar work at a variety of large scale events such as Northern Pride and Lindisfarne Festival, where I was tasked with managing mobile bars.
Halisbury Project (October, 2017). During the course of a week I stayed in Granada with a host family, attended a language school and worked in a local café. Attending the specialised language school and regularly interacting with native speakers allowed me to speak Spanish with fluency to the extent where I could use it in the work place abroad
Part time member of staff at JulesB; North East based global fashion retailer (2016-2020). Throughout my time working there I carried out a series of industrial tasks. Such tasks included processing orders in dispatch, handling returns and warehouse shifts. Furthermore, I also gained experience in the area of customer service whilst shadowing the web sales manager.
Not only am I proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs, I am also a confident speaker, reader and writer of the Spanish language.
